Part of Trump’s appeal to his base is that he’s an ignorant asshole. He’s built his brand upon being an ignorant asshole. A large part of his precious base consists of people who finally feel free to be ignorant, self-important assholes who can do and say whatever asshole thing they want to without ever facing consequences.

I may have mentioned here before that I went to college with him. I didn’t have any classes with him, but I saw him around campus and remember his name.

I also remember multiple people back then saying he was a dick. So some things never change I guess.
