Loudon pretty much hates that song altho it was the reason I saw him at the Armadillo for the first time when he was pretty much obligated to perform it. I’ve seen him many times since and he NEVER plays it. Ever. But that’s OK as he has a ton of other stuff he can do instead. I’ve always been fond of this one: “Told you I love you, went and lost me cool, You say that you like me. I feel like a fool. You say that you like me, but that’s not enough. Say that you love me. I’m calling your bluff!”

Feels very Jimmy Buffet flavored, though he would definitely ruin the folksy feel if he covered it.
