Tulsi Gabbard quits race, endorses Joe Biden

Sometimes future timelines swim into such clear focus that they’re almost blinding:

  1. “Status Quo” Joe Biden wins the Democratic nomination in 2020.
  2. Independents find him corrupt and senile, young voters find him uninspiring, billionaires find him comfortably malleable.
  3. In November, Traitor Trump is reelected by a razor-thin margin that he nevertheless proclaims to be the greatest victory of all time.
  4. The DNC goes into soul-searching mode and decides that it still isn’t sufficiently like the GOP from the 1970s. “Needs more conservative.” The Senate remains Republican (barely), the House remains Democratic (barely). House Speaker Pelosi calls Trump a threat to the U.S. and the world, but then votes in favor of full funding for his border wall project.
  5. Trump raises an unprecedented sum for his inaugural celebration, provides almost no entertainment with it, and proudly tweets about how most of these funds went into his pocket and the pockets of his friends.
  6. March, 2021, news comes of a particularly deadly Ebola outbreak in Africa. Trump proudly tweets about how he has shut down all travel from “shithole” countries experiencing the problem. (He actually uses the word “shithole” in his tweet this time.)
  7. April, 2021, a patient in the United States dies from a hemorrhagic fever that looks exactly like Ebola. Hospital personnel treating him are infected, but disappear into quarantine. No one ever hears about them again. Trump tweets that this story is “fake news” and that the dead man was just a drug addict with AIDS.
  8. May, 2021, more patients with Ebola-like symptoms appear in the United States. Dozens of people die as a result. Americans are advised to go about their daily lives as if nothing happened. Trump tweets that the loser Democrats are trying to smear him. Meanwhile, the White House is locked down to all visitors and Washington, D.C. is put under martial law.
  9. June, 2021, Trump goes on national television and admits it really is Ebola, he knew it all along, how dare the failing mainstream media claim otherwise. Maybe there are 200 known cases, but next month there will only be 100, and soon there will be none. He insists that his response to this Ebola nothing-burger has been “perfect.”
  10. July, 2021, no one even knows how many Ebola victims are out there anymore. Most people are sheltering in place, trying to isolate themselves from infection. Millions are starving. Infected, dying people break into homes, trying to infect others out of spite. National Guard units are called out to maintain order. Trump tweets that the U.S. has the greatest health care system in the world.
  11. August, 2021, no more power, no more internet, no more phone coverage, no more food. Millions dead, millions more dying. No more tweets from Trump or anyone else.

she had the courage to stand by her convictions.

Sure, they weren’t her convictions, and were fed to her by her Russian minders.
But they were convictions nonetheless, and she stood by them!

Present!

  1. A ragtag group of adventurers breaks into the formerly fortified Fort Mar o Lago to find the partially scavenged android torsos of Trump, Melania and Pence - each trying to run their sub-routines in front of disconnected cameras a final time.

Well, there has been a lot of call for him to have a woman of color on the ticket.

Really, that’s what you see when you see Gabbard? Huh.

no. i don’t know where you heard this, but you’re wrong. according to 82% of TV shows, we’re days from the apocalypse. COVID 19 - we all have it already, and it turns you into a ZOMBIE.
