Well shit. Saw this on FlightRadar24 described as a “runway excursion”, and thought the plane just overshot. But they didn’t mention the 30-40 meter drop-off at the end of the runway…

Usually the problems seem to happen on the other end of the flight.

Word is they were landing with a strong, gusting tailwind. They got too high, too fast and ran out of runway before they got it on the ground.
