Glad everyone was okay… but…
Nominative determinism?
Pretty sure it was gravity.
But it wasn’t a Trident, though.
@LagerVsAle Gravity minus friction plus momentum. Those three plus inertia are the banes of my life.
aww that wasn’t a video of a plane overshooting a runway and ending up in the water. that was basically a still shot of a plane in the water. not nearly as cool.
p.s. would not be joking around if anyone had gotten injured.
Who has two thumbs and lives in a pineapple under the sea?
This pilot.
I don’t think so. No one named Crash Corrigan in the cockpit.
To hunt the submarine, you must first become the submarine.
(Not originally mine)
I’ll let that sink in.
So will they recover this aircraft and at least salvage some parts? Those things cost millions to build, and I’d hate to see all of that wasted.
The BoingBoing stock photo work continues to baffle.
Why does your article tease show an F/A18 fighter jet, but the story is about a Poseidon - which is essentially a Boeing 737? And the (video) is of newscasters, not of the incident.
Did they have their GPS set to 1990? Hawaii is a moving target.
Also, it’s 9 crew. There are no passengers on the plane.
