Not a fan of killing wild animals, but certain occasions do warrant it… I am glad they ate it, makes the killing a lot easier to stomach…

An aggressive crocodile regularly venturing into the community. It was going to be killed for safety reasons, regardless. Might as well get a few burgers out of it. Or soup.

Saltwater crocodiles (and freshwater) are protected species in the NT and can only be legally killed with a permit. I think Indigenous communities can kill crocs without a permit but am not 100 per cent sure. In this case, however, it seems the cops did the killing. Pretty standard with cases like this in the NT.
