An odd phenomenon that seems to have started in the past week or so.
Posts that contain embedded videos from Twitter play, but the image is frozen. However, if I scroll the page as the video runs then the video plays as expected, until I cease scrolling. Then it freezes the image again.
Running Brave on Android. “Run Scripts” is enabled.
Goddamn TwitVids. For me, they’ve been skipping since 2015.
I think it is twitter. I would get ones that just didn’t play at all and get the same results from twitter directly. Then magically 10 minutes later they work.
I checked for that. If I go directly to Twitter the videos play fine. They only screw up when Boingboing is the pass-thru.
That happened to me last week, but it seems to have stopped.
