Running Brave browser on android.
When the page initially loads you can see that a TikTok embed exists.
But after a few seconds the TikTok window vanishes. The content never displays.
I’ve tried fiddling around with the various blocker controls but cant figure out anything that makes a difference.
I just tried that post (https://boingboing.net/2021/01/12/amazing-animated-cross-stitch-of-choreographer-parris-goebel-dancing.html) in all browsers (Safari, Chrome, FF) on mac, as well as Safari IOS, and the embed loaded fine.
You’ll need to look at your browser settings/extensions I think.
I had to switch from “Block cross-site cookies” to “allow all cookies” and then the TikTok embed worked.
Annoying, but sadly we don’t control the content in those embeds, or what they need to work properly.
