Oh, I don’t know. Remember that poll he posted about whether he should step down as head of Twitter? I could see him doing a poll like this and genuinely thinking “LOL this will show all those idiots who thought X was a bad idea!”, then just blaming bots or something when it goes the opposite direction he expected.
