Drove out to my buddy’s house last weekend to work on building a new mash tun in his garage as he’s got a much better assortment of tools than I do. While I was there, his neighbors / neighbor’s wife / neighbor’s wife’s stepfather* to visit a little. They are staunch trump supporters, and while they tried to point out the positives of trump-as-POTUS, they were also doing their best to convince me that Christianity is the “one true way”. They did not have a good answer for my question about how trump-as-candidate functions within the constraints of their belief in xtianity.
EDIT: They’re neighbors regardless of their gender or familial relationship, as was correctly pointed out to me. Mea culpa.
