The whole interaction was stupendous in its horribleness. One of the neighbors did his level best to explain that trump’s like of Putin (as well as his business dealings with and in Russia) has something to do with an overall attempt at diplomacy between the two nations, ala Nixon’s China venture. Which was so godamn absurd I wasn’t even sure how to respond.
