It would fit right in on Twitter.
He’s still not wrong. Doesn’t TFG have his emails printed?
Yeah, it’s half directly because of that (it’s so clearly self-referential, given the shit-show that is Musk’s Twitter)… the other half being that Elno is an f’ing clown, of course.
I’m kind of surprised he isn’t pivoting to that, because it’s exactly his kind of nonsense - something flashy, wildly over-hyped and “futuristic” that would require burning tons of money and actually has no sustainable business model. (I mean, right now the model is: spend billions to get people to build their businesses around it at unsustainable prices, then presumably hike prices enormously and hope you’ve made it a sufficiently irreplaceable part of their workflow. Like Uber trying to position themselves to replace public transport. Except in this case the replacement is just human labor, not anything that requires infrastructure or any sort of investment.)
@smulder
Now I’m imagining an Apple-style presentation…
Elon Musk: “One more thing…” [truck blows up]
your link of course says “something went wrong, try again.”
fwiw it is about that time right now …
Elon “pedo guy” musk in Gremlin Mode…
When you shut down APIs, RPA becomes the unregulated norm. The only way to shut down RPA, is to restrict open user access. When you shut down open user access, you become…something that can’t make any money. Reddit…head’s up!
“Somewhat more tech-savvy than TFG” is still a very low bar…
To think, he could have bought 44 billion lottery tickets and still been better off.
If you don’t have a Twitter account and click a direct link to a tweet, that’s what you get now. A link to someone’s account goes to the login page so they can’t even consistently give the same error right now
More to the point: the decision to block most people from accessing Twitter.
Except that unfortunately, I still “get to” see the tweets that certain news outlets insist on embedding at me.
So if a normal person searches for something, all they’ll get from Twitter is broken links; but if someone really was scraping Twitter, there is presumably still a way for them to do that via whatever interface embedded tweets use.
Truly this guy deserves the Nobel Prize for Doing a Smart Great Job.
I think you have an extra letter there
BWAAHAHAHAHA
Looks like they screwed up CORS. Browser cache these for a long time too.

And their own apps are broken and Google presence is down.
He’s shot himself in the foot so many times, it’s a wonder that he can walk at all.
Being a billionaire means you can shoot your self in the foot and the bullet always goes between your toes.

I love the smell of wannabe Plutocrat self-ownage in the morning. Smells like – victory…
Who would have guessed the billionaire jackass who wants to build spaceships would be even better at sinking things than the billionaire jackass who wanted to build submersibles?
