I don’t know about The Church, but here in Cambridge we have bars called “The Office” and “The Library” so you can say you were at the office until really late last night, or tell your roommate’s parent their kid is at the library.

Me too. I think it was relatively new when my friends went there (at the time I was very much into staying up till Sunday but not beer).
