The Preston Model is an example of what I want to see more of from Labour, and it looks like it works, so it is no surprise that Sir Keith is not a fan.

According to Nick Ferrari on LBC this morning, it’s all fine.

Apparently, if you’re in a high pressure environment, telling your subordinates to cut their throat or jump out of a window is just how you get things done.

I’d be pretty insulted if someone thought I was a Tory, and it might trigger the insecurities of some of the more “centrist” Labour politicians. But lots of those are sentence fragments, presumably with more unambiguous insults to follow. Interestingly, “legend”, “hero” or “star”, for example, would make 3, 7 and 8 very positive.
