What a cute little void! I love the butt wiggle before the final pounce. I was waiting for it, and baby void delivered.
Have you landed on a name yet?
Awww, thatโs theygenderโs void, not mine.
Iโve had several absolutely wonderful voids of my own, though, and all were given great names.
A beat-up stray black cat w/a limp showed up here the first night we spent in this house! He came in the back door, looked at us, and said, โRank!โ We fed him, and he said, โGrunk!โ A real tough guy, so I decided to name him Smeadley. Amazingly, when I told him his new name, he didnโt object. He simply said, โGrunk!โ
One morning, mom had let our cats out, and got ready to feed them on the back porch. When she went out with their food, a sleek and svelte black kitty had joined their unobjecting group, crying for breakfast like sheโd always lived here. I soon named her Charybdis, and explained the myth of Scylla and Charybdis to mom, who immediately decided to call her Charyb for short. It was days after naming her that she showed us she liked to stir up the water dish and make a whirlpool of it before drinking.
A black kitten showed up while mom and I were each out of town, and our housesitter let her in and began caring for her. A couple hours after getting home and meeting her, I named her Anubis. Our vet took one look at her and said, โShe looks expensive!โ
My spouse has to catch kii-kitten up on the newest developments in his โdice gameโ the day after every session. Kii-kitten would love to stay up listening but past her bedtime!
Heโs usually the DM and will whip a fascinating story out of his pocket like itโs nothing whenever our kid has trouble sleeping.
Thatโs not a pet, itโs a guard rabbit!
Live Beanie Baby edition!
Finally found the video w/Copernicus sneaking up on poor Gelert! That bit begins at :20
Sometimes a mumbat who has lost a baby will adopt a baby in need, as dearest Beverly has done with little Kippa. Some lady bats w/o offspring, like some other animals, will spontaneously lactate (esp in the presence of nursing mums) and adopt offered babies.
