Wouldn’t this be a health code violation?
That sounds like the kind of question someone who wanted to delay their flight would ask, smart guy.
“What, you want a refund? Are you insane? You know we don’t give flight benefits to housekeeping staff!!”
Stay classy, United. Just remember. There’s no such thing as bad publicity. Especially if you’re the only option.
Hard pass, I would raise hell
Well it could, depending on the levels of disgust you associate with different bodily fluids, have been worse:
(That’s three separate incidents, within eighteen months or so.)
Funny you should ask! Yes, and No! If you voluntarily do the deed, no violation. If you’re forced to remove said puke / human fluids, that’s a health code violation! Looks like my work is done for the day, Happy Hump day BB!
Surprise, surprise, the airline was United! Who would have guessed?
No kidding.
they would be blamed for a departure delay if they insisted on having the seats cleaned by a cleaning crew.
Hey, our seats are covered in vomit. Anyone want to trade seats with us to avoid a delay? No? No one? Looks like it’s unanimous for a delay, flight attendants.
Flight attendants don’t get paid until the doors close. This behavior is literally encouraged, they’re working for free until they leave the gateway.
Morale in the United PR department must be abysmal.
That’s what you get if you don’t check the ‘No vomit’ box and pay the $20 surcharge when booking your ticket.
How does United still have passengers at this point? They’re the Comcast of airlines, except customers actually have other choices.
Speaking of Comcast, have you noticed that they call themselves “Xfinity” since about 9 years ago? I wonder if they did that because the “Comcast” brand has such a bad reputation.
One word: oligopoly. Sometimes they’re the only option when you need a certain route at a certain time. Captive markets are a hell of a drug.
Obligatory:
And we all know what happens if you don’t do what you were asked on a United plane
