I wonder if the insurance company will declare the jet a total loss.

Regardless, I think Myth Busters has proven that they’ll never get the smell out.

  1. My brother was a nuke tech on the USS Carl Vinson.

  2. “then pulled the jet 12,400 feet up”

That is pretty impressive!

My brother built the plastic model for that. Top opened up to see inside and everything. Spent many many hours of childhood playing with that, super cool looks, might have been a flying sub but also made a great looking spacecraft.

So they had at least one twelve-thousand foot cable that can support a stealth jet. (plus the weight of thousands of feet of cable)

I’m sure it’s just one HUGE spool, but that still could be fun to see.

Only an issue if there was air in the inside and water on the outside. Since it sunk, I think we can assume there wasn’t much air in it.

But then at very last minute, Rose threw it back in.

Nah, those little water indicators will have turned red. The insurance companies will just say: you dropped in in the water, no insurance for you.

Do we think that Porsche will send a crane to retrieve its cargo down on the ocean floor near the Azores?
