Were there any reports of … strange or odd goings on in the area?
PS I may or may not have been binge watching a 15 year old SyFy tv series lately.
this mugger must be shitting bricks. he picked the one-in-a-million victim that has the means and political clout to actually bring him in.
Which one? I must be behind the times as I didn’t pick up the reference.
Warehouse 13
FWIW, Tustin is in Orange County, so perhaps Southern California suburb?
If only there had been an armed government employee nearby, or at the very least a good guy with a gun.
Maybe the agent decided his stuff wasn’t worth shooting someone over.
A cop thinking someone isn’t worth shooting?
Surely he would have brandished his weapon to deter the robber, even without firing a shot.
Plot twist: the culprit turns out to be a hardup law enforcement agent who needs the money to entrap a suspect, but is stymied by his superior, a by-the-books bureaucrat who’s lost touch with the realities of today’s criminal underworld.
