I have one of these and the scoop is too long for me. I can’t see what I need to scrape out and actually get the end of the scoop on it. As always, you need to be super careful putting things in your ear.
Agreed, a shorter scoop option would be a real asset. The length also makes you all the more likely to bump up against your eardrum, which is easy to do and scary when it happens.
This thing is not for anyone that can’t be careful and precise.
It’s useful to see for yourself what’s what in there, but hydrogen peroxide and a (water) rinse bulb thingy are still the weapons of choice for safety and effectiveness IMO.
I thought I was having a problem with wax build up, but it turned out to only be earwigs.
FYI. The amazon reviews for this are horrifying.
I worry about Mark’s earwax obsession.

That code didn’t work for me, I guess it’s back to Q-Tips…
How much earwax do you have that you need this many gadgets to remove it?
