Me, too! Assuming you mean the security staff who is obviously amused?

Aside from the footage from within the venue, though, does anyone else find it rather creepy that a local news station can track your movements on public cameras outdoors and play it on the news? I mean, I don’t give a fig about Boebert, but it seems a misuse of the resources…

Man, in over 11 years of helping operate a single-screen theater never once have we had to ask someone to leave. We’ve had people get hostile in the lobby over content their lizard brain thought was offensive for portraying people that don’t think like them, but vaping and recording? Those are serious red lines.

Also: That theater styling looks intense. It must be extremely painful to walk out of a darkened auditorium into brightly-lit bare white walls.

Edit for gentler language.

Given how the right loves security theatre; I’m surprised to see a congressperson out and about without a couple of minders.

Though apparently not Theatre Security.

And that was a live performance too.

Claiming to be a “supporter of the arts” and being that disrespectful to the cast and audience? That’s Boebert in a stinky hazmat nutshell.

On Reddit a lot of the speculation is that she pregamed a bit based on her general attitude. Seeing the video here, she does seem awfully happy, so I’m guessing she had something, whatever that might be.

The Koch brothers final, hideous legacy.

I’m not sure what’s more impressive - the number of CCTV cameras or that Beetlejuice packed a large theatre in 2023?
That’s staying power!
Ps - I love that movie

I couldn’t figure out why such a large auditorium was crammed full for a re-run of an old film - but it pays you to read the comments.

I didn’t recognize her without her “I am a smart girl” glasses, but I did enjoy her “high end escort” dress.

I guarantee that it never occurred to her to mute the flash on her phone.

I can only imagine how :rage: annoying :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: that would be to the performers.

There is no room in the drug culture for amateurs.

I think she was high on her own supply.

It was not the movie! It was the Broadway touring company performance of the 2019 stage musical adaptation. I’ve seen it and it’s really quite good if you like musicals. It’s actually a quite loose adaptation of the movie.

BTW, a movie sequel is actually in the works, reportedly being held up by the strike.

Low-level politicians have to pay for bodyguards themselves, absent a clear and convincing threat, and she’s supposedly broke.

Another positive result of the strike.
