I don’t think there’s any such thing as a diet of worms.

I’ll ask a bird, just to be sure.

I’m not here to defend that point from above but I can see the view. How many Christian conservatives look the other way on people like Nostradumbass and vote for him but liberals threw Al Frankenstein under that bus as fast as possible.

Sometimes there is no shade of grey on the left while there is nothing but grey on the right.

Ofc this is completely anectdotal and if we looked at specifics I am absolutely sure it is a “both sides” issue.

Diets that don’t give one a holistic, complete nutrient profile are harmful to most people, IMHO. Vegan or not is beside the point. She said she felt great on her diet, when in fact she was told by her doctors not to follow her own advice, at which point she decided to not tell her customers or fans and apparently continued to promote and sell her diet anyway.

YOU MONSTER.

Actually. I am a huge fan of a hard boiled egg chopped up in my brown sugar oatmeal. It’s really two flavors that don’t make sense but work so well together.

But that’s only a 50,000 ft view point. That is not reality. Truth is it’s in both sides. And I get the point of “stop ripping/tearing everyone down because they don’t fit some perfect personal narrative” it does not mean that every liberal person does it.

Again. Not a one sided issue.

Vegan diet is not intrinsically harmful, but requires planning and mindfulness in execution. Providing your body with the proper balance of amino acids and essential fatty acids is much harder to do with a vegan diet. Throwing a steak in the fire will give you what you need, but to do that with veggies requires knowing that corn is lacking in certain amino acids, but can be corrected with legumes. That quinoa can provide essential amino acids, but is a much less concentrated source that meat. It’s just hard. If you are not willing to do the work, it can get very dangerous pretty quickly.

So does vegan always = progressive? Is it impossible to be a conservative and not eat animals?

It is possible. But those are reformed conservatives. They only say the short form the Hail Mary.

I get what you’re saying about dumbass Bernie-bros but I think you’re missing the overall point which is that you’re entitled to be disappointed or upset when someone lies directly to your face for a prolonged period of time even if they share 90% of your values.

Also this is borderline fraud; her website sells vegan diet plans which she was heavily implying that she used herself - the good old hey buy my diet and you could look like me approach - while she was actually following a completely different diet plan.

A cardinal, I assume, is the best bird to ask about a diet of worms.
