Circa 1970 when I was a busker (street musician) around San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf, ROCKET MAN (in medley with LEVON) was always a crowd favorite, good for at least a few dollars in my open guitar case. Lots of nice, loud, open chords, with a little diddling at the octave frets. It doesn’t work well on mandolin or tenor banjo, alas.
