Hit & Runs have been on an uptick in L.A. over the past decade or two. I am not sure if you’d see this stat everywhere else. But yes, personal accountability also goes to not looking at your phone, staying situationally aware and pulling over to deal with any distractions in the car. Global problems.

Show me your ID; cop tackles guy when he reaches for ID.
Every generation; fewer and fewer trust the police; and nobody gets it until they have their own unique WTF police encounter.
