TBF I was an asshole long before I owned a Prius. Audi drivers who ride the brakes and their bright ass brake lights are the worst of the worst.
God, my FIL is a two footed driver. Makes me insane. I asked him why he left foots the brake like that and leaves his foot there and he said “I drove a stick shift for so long”. Yea, so did I. But I know how to drive both correctly.
Jet skiing, boating; both expensive: this is where I think “more money than brains” is apt.

That’s on the river, which invariably fills with oversize boats and jetskis in the summer.

Those things are a scourge on the water. Give me a canoe, sailboat, or a kayak any day. There are still a few lakes in the Adirondacks that prohibit motorized boats and the like. I try to go to those when I can.
Same goes for the snow variety. Can’t stand them.
