Ah yes, the “Asian” font style.
I guess I’m in the minority of being unimpressed by these designs.
All of this stuff reminds me of FX’s excellent The Americans, which wrapped up last week.
As most government design is worse than horrible some of these really do stand out. The bar is really low.

Fair point; perhaps I’m just not as big of a fan of ‘Scarfolk’ as some are.
The idea of a place that hasn’t advanced at all since I was born creeps me out, personally. I look at stuff like this and I just see shades of Stepford.

DO NOT TRUST THE MAIL ROBOT!
For me, they tap in to the posters of my youth, so the design doesn’t have to be “good”, as it is nostalgic for me. That, coupled with the dissonance of their source and subject matter, makes them work for me. They trigger my memories of bleak, distopian 1970’s sci-fi films.
