Oh, well, no problem then!

Scary shit, this. And he’s definitely not the only one, now that Nazis have been trying to gussy themselves up into cleancut respectability.

At this point we can no longer be surprised by or complacent about what’s crawling out from under history’s paving stones in the West. If we don’t take the threat of resurgent right-wing populism seriously now and stomp it out at every single instance we’ll pay the price later.

You don’t suppose he’s working on his own cut of The Last Jedi too?

And who’s reviewing the people this guy hired?

Or those who hired him. And this happened after an article came out in a paper…shouldn’t groups like the FBI be on top of this shit? That is their job, after all.

The job of the FBI is to suppress anti-capitalist, anti-imperialist and anti-racist dissent. Always has been.

Emails reveal that a former Homeland Security official was connected to is white supremacist.

Hey, that’s not fair. Just because they’ve done that throughout their entire history, it doesn’t mean that they’re still… oh, no, they are still doing that. Never mind, then.

At this point, anybody who asserts that racism isn’t literally institutional should be institutionalized. They’re either dangerously gullible, or a real threat to humanity on the whole.

Interesting name.

“The Department of Homeland Security is committed to combating all forms of violent extremism, especially movements that espouse racial supremacy or bigotry…"

Was this ever true? Wasn’t it under Clinton their predecessors submitted a report that right-wing violence was at that time the gravest threat to national security? And the report was suppressed because… I it’s not nice to call a Nazi a Nazi?

ISTR this having happened before, somewhere else …

Now wondering who their Ernst Rohm is.

IIRC it was under W. Various conservative politicians became outraged about the report, even though it had not suggested any connection between the far right and mainstream conservatives. They were the ones making the connection by complaiining about the report.

Yes, but the Ian Smith of Rhodesia was a white supremacist who declared independence to preserve white supremacy.
