Bubonic plague is bacterial, not viral, so you can’t vaccinate for it? It’s easily treated with antibiotics though. I already listen to Futility Closet so maybe I’ll find out what they meant when this comes up in my feed. :slightly_smiling_face:

Vaccination can be for both viral and bacterial infections. Cholera, bubonic plague, pertussis and diphtheria are all bacterial.
