The nudist movement always was a fitness movement, but in all honesty there were a few overweight people to be seen in the video, but only on the edges. The only thing that bugged me was nudists wearing socks and sneakers.
After all, this was the early 1980s to judge from the soundtrack and the haircuts. Average weight was lower then. I honestly feel that Americans have gotten heavier since then.

Oh, it was the nudists that have been saying that since the 1920’s. At least the European versions, though I think most nudist groups in North America started from the belief that being nude promoted good health, kept you fit, yadda yadda.
