Jails are a death trap right now. The sanitation measures are woefully inadequate, and medical care is even worse. As COVID-19 hits imprisoned populations, the critical cases and casualties will be high.
These folks are right to escape, we should be removing everyone from jails and prisons right now. Early parole, supervised release, fucking whatever it takes - these people’s lives are in our hands and these facilities will kill them.
