What I find almost as interesting is that the fish seem happy to swim while, presumably, continuously butting their mouths on the side of the tank.

That the video clip didn’t mention Ronen seems wrong. The goldfish car is the work of Ronen Segev who also studies archer fish that he trained to shoot water at pictures on a computer screen. Lots of fun, crazy experiments and a nice guy

As a child I doubt you could appreciate how much it takes to keep carp alive. I feel bad people gave out living things like that as prizes.

Rats! I gave up eating beef, chicken, and octopus since I knew that they had awareness and personalities, just the way my dogs do. I was always afraid that the day would come when someone showed me that fish have personalities and intelligence as well, and that I could no longer be a pescatarian.
If those fish are anything like a lot of humans I’ve met they might just be using a fancy car to compensate for a lack of personality.
