Watch as Lauren Boebert falls apart in a debate (video)

The service industry is more than fast food and food service, and she already has experience.

The oldest profession is not dishonorable, for the record.

“There is very stiff competition she is going to have to beat off…” is a heck of a way to describe her reelection prospects…

“Within her party she still has many members well in hand.”

This just seems like the same old warmed over misogyny, but aimed at a Republican. I don’t think there has ever been proof of this claim (or about the abortions, for that matter) as the article you posted indicates, actually. But it is the same kind of shit that women of whatever political orientation face on a daily fucking basis.

There is plenty of reason to dislike Boebert… and even if this all WERE true, why would it be disqualifying vs. her views/political positions making her disqualifying. :woman_shrugging:

Come on, Colorado. Do you think no one is watching? Help us all out by electing someone to represent you who has the skills and abilities to do the job. It will make our lives much less colorful, but so much more judicially effective.

Her theater date was reportedly a Democrat, so one could say she was even reaching across the aisle.

I don’t know if this was in the same debate, but in one debate clip I saw this morning, one of her opponents asked her how many bills she had written or sponsored (not just cosponsored after the fact) that had actually been passed by the whole of Congress and signed into law by the President. She started giving a total non answer involving some outside group’s “freedom score” of her opponent, or some bullshit like that, and he interrupted her and insisted she answer the question he asked. She then started talking about one bill she was proud of that created 1,000 jobs in her district. Finally, the moderator, when her time was up, interjected and insisted she give a number in answer to the question. She said, “That’s one.” In other words, she’s passed one bill since she’s been in Congress. It was actually some really good moderation. I don’t know if it was this debate for sure, but I think it was. Anyway, I think that moment was actually a lot more damaging to her campaign than the stuff about her antics at the theater.

Wasn’t that the Biden bill that she actually voted against?

No, that’s a different one. This was some rinky dink bill she actually sponsored. The only one, in fact.

She’s hasn’t passed bills but she does take credit for the ones she votes against.

I expect if they bring back the Escort, it will be a 5000 lb SUV. Maybe a de-tuned Mustang Mach-E.
