With his rosy cheeks. He’s dust
Principle is fine when you’re winning?
It was bullying. He did it to another senator too - he asked him what he likes to drink. He was rude and entitled - implying you are an alcoholic, what do you drink…
lol sweaty Lindsey Graham. Is that a meme yet?
Dust? As in, not going to become a SCOTUS judge?
If that’s what you mean, why are you saying so?
I’m arm chair calling it at this point. If Susan Collins and Co. are not on board AM, I may give up.
Remind me again why it’s so vital that we have people like Manchin in the Senate for Democrats’ sake, when all they do is go along with the Republicans.
Are you sure you’re not humanizing him?
I hate these new rules, you have to not laugh at this:
What’s an arse?
I think it’s Pirate for ‘ass’. /s humor
Even if Kav does get confirmed, I think this may be the start of a sea change.
(In case you were curious, of course Joe Fain is a Family Values Republican.)
… ew, no
This is my theory:
First, it seems to me that the events reported by the victims happened and, consequently, Kavanough should not be confirmed to the Supreme Court.
Second, it seems to me that Kavanough believes that he is innocent because he did not intend to rape the victims, he was just doing what he did in order to go along with the antics of his preparatory and fraternity friends, he just was doing it for show. As a supposedly good Catholic boy, he believed and believes that there was no rape without vaginal intercourse, it was just “good fun” (this of course would not apply if he took part on gang rapes.) If his friends were doing bad things, he was not supposed to judge them. He surely went to confession after each wild party to relieve himself from his sins and get absolution from Church and God. His youthful sins were forgiven, so he thinks that he can, with a straight face, deny that they ever happened. Of course, his victims did not know when they were being assaulted what were his intentions; his victims felt the assault, as described by Dr Ford, as a real attempt to rape, not just as a sick joke. Their fear was real, and the assault too, independently of Kavanough’s intentions, his bad judgement, and his moral hypocrisy.
Brent Kavanough has repeatedly shown that he does not have a good judgement and that he is not a man of his word. He doesn’t not deserve to be a judge, in the Supreme or in any other court.
I love the folks who think voting is a joke
Not even the People’s Court.
Or Night Court.
What’s with this guy in the background:
Picked a fine time to doze off.
That’s an insult to the honorable Harry T. Stone; who is still a far better human being than Kavanaugh, even though he’s fictional.
He so wouldn’t.
