Oh hey, DakhaBrakha! (Slava Ukraini!) I really dig bands that synthesize different traditions into a “modern folk,” and I have a particular soft spot for DakhaBrakha. My understanding is even their outfits are basically “fake folk,” modern designs made to evoke traditional folk costume (without actually being it), and serving as a sort of uniform for identifying the band.
