I see what you did there…
“Watch this time-lapse video of a wounded finger healing.”
Usually I am okay with the transitive imperative verb “Watch”.
But this usage is disquieting.
Much more disconcerting backwards.
Damn, the human body is an amazing thing.
Oh, cool! I took one of these after a chemical burn from soldering rosin. Problem was, I gave up after a few months… my autoimmune disorder causes the skin to get angry and stay angry for a loooong time.
The spot still flares up years later if I use cleaning agents and don’t wash right away.
As a bonus, you can also watch the fingernails grow.
As far as time lapse goes this is pretty cool. Anyone have ideas on how to film this. Seems like he has his fingers in something that will keep them in the same spot but how does he make the motion smooth?
Dental alginate can make a handy hand-tray for positioning, and it’s easy to blend (tween) a few frames of fade between daily photos using Photoshop’s animation tool. That would smooth it out well at 25 frames per second. The camera rotation is trickier, he must have it on a track or something.
