Unfortunately that training was only effective when the telegram actually was for Otis B. Driftwood. In hindsight, it would have been better for the telegram man to shout the name of the actual recipient, but those were simpler days.

Well, maybe YOU did. We only had a 12" diagonal B&W TV. The relative cost for a color TV in those days was still significant.
But yeah, what @arteitle said about it being a bad video rather than actually B&W.

Stripping Theragrans were somewhat difficult to receive at work even at that time.
