I was watching The Taste of Things last week and the fictional gourmande in it explained that you have to eat the omelette with a spoon, it totally changes it.

Is this true?

Also I discovered that the French for a baked Alaska is a Norwegian Omelette!

Could be. The next time I make an omelette I’ll give it a try.
The human brain is weird and easily influenced in how it perceives things around it.

(I think Lichtenberg has something in one of his scrapbooks about how coffee tastes different when you drink it from a glass instead of a cup.)
