Surfing can be deceptively dangerous. If it isn’t other surfers it is the waves trying to bash you onto rocks/coral.

It always struck me as odd how aggressive surfers are about protecting their private breaks, given the mellow vibe surfers have off the water.
Now I understand them a bit more.

This is why, in Australia, we separate the surfing and swimming sections of patrolled beaches. Zig when you should zag and suddenly there’s brains in the water.

you know honestly, i think i surfing board game might be kind of fun. Maybe more fun than as a video game.
