Emmm, I hungry. All of a’sudden like…
I actually went and made popcorn. I haven’t done that for months.
Crazy how some cities have something like 10x the restaurants as an entire state…
Longer than the Wayne’s World movie! I skimmed through a few bits to get the idea but I see that Alice Cooper stopped by for a spell, so that’s nice.
Don’t support Uber!
Boy, it sure is great to see characters we all remember so fondly shilling for a company that routinely goes above and beyond in its attempts to deny its employees even the most basic level of compensation while also charging struggling independent businesses exorbitant commission fees.
Yes! There are plenty of more ways to directly support your local restaurants, like ordering from them directly.
Indeed, it’s like if what was long ago a cool underground zine started shilling for a monopolistic corporate monster that treats its employees like indentured servants, in order to skim a few pennies of commissions.
Hey! Get your red/blue anaglyph 3D glasses out! Check out the segment that starts at around 2:10:47 for some stereoscopic action. Too bad there isn’t much Z-axis action per se and most of the ten or so minutes of stereoscopic action is just them eating popcorn in a loop. Still, it’s pretty cool.
ETA: I tried various anaglyph glasses and I get the best results with red/cyan glasses.
I’m sorry. I loved the Wayne’s World movies, but they… they’re old like me now. They look like two old men pretending to be young cool kids. Just… no. (Although okay, cool that the long video has guest appearances and stuff, sure).
Plus all that stuff others already said about Uber. No thanks.
To hell with Uber and anyone rotten enough to work for it.
I have never ordered from Uber Eats; may I ask, what so bad about them? I am scared to Google it.
Uber is notoriously awful to the people who work for them, from drivers to tech.
OMG, did you guys see teen heart-throb Wilfred Brimely has a new diabetus commercial out?
Miaow!
Thank you for the info.
Eventually, I will want to use an online food ordering/delivery app; is DoorDash any better? Are there other good alternatives in Canada? Thank you.
Skip The Dishes is our go-to in Canada.
My thoughts exactly. And wow, Uber and friends spent a quarter billion dollars defeating a law in California, and they still have plenty of money leftover for stunts like this? Those Saudi investors in Uber sure have deep, deep pockets.
