kinda like Lower case n!
edit–not that the two songs are the same, but that we were discussing how sounds themselves can evoke a feeling (at least that’s what I was discussing )

Said my dead dad…
Touché! Yes, now I absolutely understand what you meant in that thread!
Yes, it is only a matter of time and hackneyed writing before Uber delivers children and origin stories. “Oh no, honey, you were the honorable mention prize at a JLB kickboxing tournament…”
If things were one letter off, everyone would have a surfeit of flowers and practice pathospsychonomy (not overthinking sadness, sad elephant trading, maybe misempathy.)
Mine is similar. I wish I had taken my cats with me when I moved moved out of state. They were old and used to my parents’ house so, but my parents were somewhat tired of caring for them. I don’t know if they’d have lived any longer or been happy in a smaller apartment, but I still feel a bit as if I’d abandoned them.
a funny thing about regret https://youtu.be/LwknFJpjl9g
Well, not my cup of tea. I like to remember why I should never repeat certain experiences.
I personally would love perfect recall.
Also, saying you have no regrets would mean that either (a) they’re not really considering what that means and say it because they think it makes them sound evolved (b) they’ve never hurt someone in their life or © they don’t care that they’ve hurt someone before. Since I’m pretty sure there are very very few people that haven’t hurt someone in their life (I’m thinking only infants that die young would), I would like to believe that most people that say this fall into the A category. Otherwise there are A LOT of sociopaths out there.
Agreed, especially the part about hurting others. What people are essentially saying when they have no regrets is that they don’t care that they hurt other people, as long as they can say, “I learned from it!” Yes, at the expense of others. How selfish.
Ugg. I have a horrible memory (for many things), but sometimes I think that’s a blessing.
