What would Musk's free-speech absolutism look like on Twitter?

Actually it’s how all libertarians are when you start digging into their beliefs. Turns out what they really mean is “I get to do what ever I want and a small government still exists to punish other people for things I don’t like”

Twitter is well suited for propaganda, it’s less well suited for the kind of reasoned discourse that Popper and others seemingly favored. There are several ways of publishing the sort of thing Popper approves of

But 280 characters? Probably not.

Arguably, Elon Musk likes to libel people in lieu of reasoned argument. He doesn’t make detailed arguments that could be misconstrued as libelous by a court of martinets; rather, he calls people “pedo guys”.

Both of mine did… although my maternal grandfather used his dead older brothers birth certificate to sign up for the navy, until they figured it out, and sent him home because he was 15 (he was in the pacific for almost a year before they figured it out). My paternal was a bit older and was in the thick of things in Europe. I believe he helped liberate a camp towards the end?

Yep.

This story also comes as no surprise.
