Guess I know what I’m not watching in the future. Again, The Acolyte should have been a movie.
But Ahsoka gets another season.

cant watch that starwars-shit since force awakens anymore, no matter if its “good” or not. way too product. doesnt say anything and everything feels like someone just decided to film random parts off wookieepedia. everything has to be lore. its just exhausting.
(no, I wont watch andor, Im done)
… “The Last Jedi” is a little different, it’s the one Star Wars movie that says wait this is all bullshit
I may not watch the story, but those fights are some amazing scenes that I will enjoy again.
Nah, I liked the longer length. However, S1 was only half a story stretched out too far and S2 should have been the back half of it.
Because A̶h̶s̶o̶k̶a̶ S̶2̶ Rebels S6 should happen. The threat of Thrawn has potential to be quite large regardless of what Ahsoka and Sabine get up to in that other galaxy far far away
… oh my god the convention
funny, its from 1962 and one guy says “its a dead planet. intelligence has already destroyed itself” (on venus); thats the plot of the 1960s GDRs the silent star. so, more from the glourious days of socialist progress in space:

e/ (planet of storms) neat. 5 minutes on venus and already attacked by a squid flower. (some time later) damn, these communists are the same assholes as their imperialistic counterparts on alien planets. and the only women stays in orbit and is constantly worrying about her boys on the surface. shes the secretary. the “emotional” center. jezuz! I wonder why roger corman did even bother to cut a us version.
… Joe delivering the biggest speech of his life
…and tonight, Walz delivering his
Giant monsters are wreaking havoc in Japan as usual. The other nations are becoming suspicious, but Their leaders are happy to sell powerful weapons to fight the giant menaces. The Japanese government form an ingenious team with a bunch of cunning youngsters who dress like boring middle-aged salarymen to study new ways to destroy the monsters called Kaijus. Despite their fashion choices, they are very competent and neutralized all threats until a mysterious alien lands in Japan.
A personal anecdote: I grew up loving these cheesy japanese TV shows. It was sooooo cool, at least for my child eyes… Unlike the 60s and 70s versions that I liked so much, this time some political themes are spread across the screen in some scenes, such as discomfort with Japanese politicians, the country’s role on the international scene and subservience to American interests.
The show imagines an aging Sam Spade continuing his PI career in the south of France. Starring Clive Owen as the eponymous detective. This was originally on AMC last January, but all six episodes are on Netflix currently.
based on the Hiaasen novel of the same name. very quick and witty. scenery is legit florida keys!
loved the book and enjoying this screenplay.
This series dares to ask out loud the question that everyone has been quietly wondering for years: what if, instead of cooking meth, Walter White had gone down the path of moonlighting as a professional gigolo to make money to save his family?
Anyone watching this?
So far, so entertaining.
From what I can gather, it’s a kinda comedy retelling of Orpheus in the Underworld (I am no expert in the classics) and it’s a lot of fun.
Only on ep.3 , so go judge for yourself.
ETA: Also, of course, Jeff Goldblum!
Extra ETA: Jeff Goldblum as Fuckin’ ZEUS!
Not yet, but I plan on it eventually… I love Goldblum!
mum and i started watching Kaos last night. very clever! and OMG! Billie Piper! damn! she fugly in this!
No and I avoid TV shows these days mostly (having been disappointed too often) and I particularly avoid Netflix. I got about two lines into a review of this yesterday (if even that) and went “shut up and take my eyes and time!” I don’t need no review. I will watch the shit out of this.
Soon as I get TV time this is on it.
