All I hope is to be worthy of it.

Whatās your take on Orphan Black? Not your traditional hard SF, but they make an effort to make the science believable. They spend a lot more time on character and relationships than hard SF usually does, but thatās a plus as far as Iām concerned.[/quote]
Watched up till this past season then lost interest, the SF seemed played out and whatās left is soap.
Iāve only seen a few episodes of that show, but yes, without the period thing. A lot of alienated spys not knowing who to trust on any side. Itās the only show I donāt ever skip the titles on, itās to Bowieās āIām Afraid of Americansā!
Just started watching Catastrophe.
Finished the first episode. Funny!
Just watched the first of the new Time Commanders. Just as naff as it was 10 years ago, and now hosted by the guy from Masterchef, but I still kinda enjoyed it.
Just Black Mirror and Westworld. The darker the better. Reflects current reality, as we are on the darkest timeline.
In the same genre (Brit rom-com), I just watched the first episode of Lovesick, because of a good review on slate.com,
Looks promising.
I could do without real-life and dystopian fiction trying to one-up each other, to be honest.
If I hadnāt watched Black Mirror before the election, I donāt think Iād be watching it.
Charlie Brookerās 2016 Wipe is going to be horrible.
Yes, this season has been more solid than it has been for a while. The episode with Dave Chappelle was excellent. And this from when Tom Hanks was on.
SNL? Of all people, John Cenaās turning out to both be quite a solid actor and a decent comedy host.
2016 in wrestling. All of the good sort of weird for the year has been funneled into one tiny, obscure corner.
John Cena? I havenāt seen that one.
I am not following, what is 2016 Wipe?
A yearly Brit comedy/commentary show
December 10th, so couple days ago. Iāve just seen the Youtube highlights of it. Heās been a bit of a surprise this year. His in-ring work has been outstandingly good, some solid acting gigs andā¦ this.
Over the past couple of weeks Iāve definitely had a hip hop focus to my watching.
First I binge watched Hip-Hop Evolution on Netflix. Much of its content would be familiar to anybody that followed Ed Piskorās Hip Hop Family Tree comic but it was still a very good watch despite some glaring omissions.
Then, today I saw 808 which was a fascinating look at the iconic TR-808 and its impact on music. I never knew that part of the reason for its unique sound and why they had to stop producing them was that they intentionally used faulty transistors on the sound generator circuit and their supply dried up with improvements to semiconductor yields. Iāll admit that while I can easily pick a 303 out of a music track, the 808 sound is so ubiquitous to me that it just blends.

You betcha but at least he doesnāt have to think too hard about a final shot to perfectly encapsulate the fucking surreality of this yearā¦
Iām looking forward to Season 2 of Man in the High Castle on Amazon Prime starting this weekend. Originally intended as a counterfactual history, with the dawn of the Trumpocene epoch, a story about life in America under fascist rule is now more relevant than ever!
Finally finished Daredevil season 2. So bored of ninjas.
Not sure I can cope with MitHC season 2 right now but should watch that.
Otherwise, I guess on to Luke Cage?
