Could be true. Or I’m starting to become an old fart with get-off-my-lawnitis. Most probably the latter because she sounds about the same as the average pop singer since '95 to me. 
On the bright side, this thread seems to have been spared creepy comments about Sia’s physique.

Dude I am an old geezer and I admitted upthread it isn’t my thing though I do looooooove her work with Zero7. Most modern pop is just meh to me but I don’t dis it well at least not seriously. And from what I have read here she writes her songs and does a lot of work so you know like Debbie Gibson from when I was much younger while it isn’t my cuppa I gotta respect that she is doing her thing her way and kicking ass at it.

Sure. All the power to her. Like I said, the problem is on the listening side 
IMHO, It’s her body, her choice. She shared it with the world. I’m going to defer to her own judgement about what she wants done with imagery of herself (as I would anyone).

No. Someone else shared it with the world. She decided to own it and not be ashamed. That’s not the same thing. But I’m not looking debate this point any further.

For what it’s worth, I’ve read that the other 14 images that she didn’t post are still being sold without her consent.

As I understand it, that’s not true: the picture was sent to her, and she decided to share it with the world.
AFAICT she decided to face the threat head-on and change the power balance of the situation which I applaud. I’m not going to criticize her choice in any way - it was her choice to make and I strongly support her right to make it.

I NEVER critcized her choice, in fact I also praised it. I criticized the choice to include the photo in this blog posting.

I read that too.
I think it’s awesome that she called out that scumbag, but it’s such bullshit that that female celebrities are treated this way by the whole culture- “fans”, paparazzi, and media.
