They give new engineers a rotating series of Teslas to drive as a company car perk. I understand dogfooding your own products, but I hope they’re not requiring the employees to use it in (supposedly) self-driving mode.
Slowly, the denizens of Silicon Valley are learning that maybe … just maybe … beta testing vehicles made by tycoons who admire the “move fast and break things” ethos on public streets may not be such a good idea after all.
Those Japanese mini-trucks are becoming more common, I see there’s a guy in CT importing them.
I’m tempted to get one but I’m not sure how I feel about steering on the right side on US roads, and the question of parts/repairs makes me think twice.
