When cats are alarmed they extend their claws and leap as hard as possible in a random direction. This cat is fine. Cats are very interested in when the mundane is strange. That is why you see them studying marks on the ground and empty pockets of air, they are investigating questions you would never even think of

My ridiculous cat will always move me to wonder and admiration of the unerring placement of its feet in the stickiest predicaments. As cool as this one, in situations that would be really challenging to a mere human.
