No man has ever understood the question “does my bum look big in this?” as featured in countless 90s comedy shows.

Getting in before the guys who feel compelled to comment:

Men don’t get a vote about what women do with their bodies - part 2 trillion.

A lot of the people doing it aren’t doctors, and they’re basically injecting whatever they found at the hardware store.

You missed the day on Understanding and Supporting Your Partner, huh?

Not a big fan of plastic surgery in general except as reconstruction, as therapeutic.

The show Nip/Tuck didn’t help there.

It seems unfortunate that the very demand for such procedures suggests that this is far from true, as evidence by the very women themselves seeking out the procedures regardless the risk.

“Doctor, you’ll want to see this.”
“…It turns out I didn’t, and I’m not sure I want to see anything again.”

Yeah, I’m sure it has nothing to do with unrealistic expectations of beauty invented for the male gaze and the very real consequences of not living up to them, up to and including violence that ends in death… Just dumb broads… /s

With any lift, posture is very important. Lift with your knees, save your back.

"My butt is back and you’re gonna be in trouble
(Hey-la-day-la my butt is back)
You see it comin’ better cut out on the double
(Hey-la-day-la my my butt is back)
You been spreading lies that I was untrue
(Hey-la-day-la my my butt is back)
So look out now ‘cause it’s comin’ after you

It’s been gone for such a long time
(Hey-la-day-la my my butt is back)
Now she’s back and things’ll be fine
(Hey-la-day-la my my butt is back)
You’re gonna be sorry you were ever born
(Hey-la-day-la my my butt is back)
'Cause she’s kinda big and she’s awful strong
(Hey-la-day-la my my butt is back)

It’s not “unfortunate;” this is all by intentional design.

Ugh. Can we not?

As a Brazilian woman I ABSOLUTELY HATE how the women of my country are hypersexualized by naming cosmetic procedures after us.

Just. STOP.

It’s not funny and perpetuates the horrifying amount of sexual harassment and downright assault that men feel they are entitled to comit against us just because we were born in Brazil.

No, I don’t want to answer to a work colleague or a total stranger about what do I do with my pubes or having men get increasily creepy just because my body has curves.

STOP dehumanizing us. It’s hard enough being a woman in this world.
