You do realize that this is an outmoded stereotype and that the vast majority of families now-a-days are duel income, and that women that are doing all the buying are also doing all the child care and elder care, and home care, often while working a full time job. You’re leaning into a very old stereotype meant to discredit the actual labor involved in being a house wife and to recast them as harpys on the take from their poor, put-upon emasculated husbands… How about we not throw around those old stereotypes that were never correct and are most certainly NOT correct now.
Unless you’re talking about racist white women weaponizing their gender and race, how about don’t apply it to a wide swath of women.
Better yet, I would suggest if you’re still a twitter user, please consider not using it anymore. Save your clicks for some other more worthy use on the internet.
I am nervous about underspending on sex workers and blow for compliance officers again now. Guess it’ll have to wait for the feature issue of Fast Fast Fast Company LLC Whatevs.
Why wouldn’t Elon make changes, cheer on some API users, and then charge for new stuff like MePeeps…er, thin (forced brevity options, etc.) WeChat cloning with better security knobs for Democracy? Option IACR work and invite efficiencies of membership, be more transparent in auto-unfollowing and other things twitter does unbidden.
Why doesn’t he pick up some of my copyrighted features like not editing but opting to show a given percent of followers cruel negations of the original tweet (crudely or via GPT3) just to fire them up then psych them out? Would not offering people prayers and sympathies produce more desirable retweetable action witness?
Mixing UAE with Saudi Arabia, but maybe you tip and he sends a rainmaker drone by sometimes (if you’re not already suffering multiple atmospheric rivers.)
As the expression goes: “if you owe $100 to the bank, that’s your problem; if you owe $100 million to the bank, it’s the bank’s problem, and if you owe $100 billion to the bank, it’s the government’s problem.” Really feels like we’re starting to get into “the government’s problem” territory here.
I lessened using Instagram when it moved from being a neat little artsy fartsy camera app with filters that you could upload elsewhere to being its own social media thingy. And stopped shortly after Facebook bought it and cranked out the ads.
Can’t wait for some internal/external security certs expire and all the people on the mailing list that would have taken care of it are gone.
Got inside scoop from furries that recently got fired from there… it’s gonna be way costly going forward with what they are about to break. Looks like the team that dealt with connecting compliance and stuff like DMCA and such got fired.
