I don’t think Octomom is classy enough for the Clermont… THAT PART OF PONCE IS ON THE UP AND UP!!!
it’s a cleverly done fake, at least so far. the videos use a chest prosthetic as Snopes points out; in addition to the color, note that she’s seated very stiffly in the videos and is always wearing a collar or scarf. this is to support the prosthetic and/or cover the support apparatus. the stills are either more of the same, or trick photography with a prosthetic right breast (the naturals become the apparent middle and left).
i suspect that it’s not totally fake. she might have the procedure planned out (or think she does), but is waiting for media interest before making the commitment. honestly, it’s not the craziest fame-shot that’s been tried. :-/
by the way, am i the only one who thinks that the plastic surgeons’ version of the “hippocratic oath”, i.e. doing only surgeries to enhance conventional beauty, is the most self-serving and cynical line of bullshit ever?
Hypocritic oath?
That said, why shouldn’t they do whatever their customers ask them for? Who are they to dictate what counts as “conventional”?
well, the original hippocratic oath prohibited euthanasia and abortion. i think that the idea is that the patient doesn’t always know what is in their best interests.
i wouldn’t even mind that much if their version were something like “only do surgeries which will enhance the patient’s sense of self-worth.” but that’s, like, confusing and stuff, so i guess it’s easier to just stick to wholesome boob jobs and anal bleaching.
No but Eccentrica Galumbits here is.
You’ve seen Dixie? The Clermont isn’t classy, it’s bizarre. I worry about it with the changes in the neighborhood. That place is historic. You used to be able to find the entire Georgia political structure there every night. Big time deals were made while Dixie recited her poetry.
That sounds quite like “only do successful surgeries”. Which, even in other fields, is a goal laudable but not always achievable.
Now she needs a third buttock.

Hope that she doesn’t get addicted like that Wildenstein woman…

I dunno, judging from the picture I’d say 33% at most.
It was poorly phrased is all. Of course her body belongs to her. A better way of putting it is “She changed her body to attract an audience, i.e., us.”
“Her body belongs to us” was (in this case) an unnecessarily melodramatic way of saying that.
Can I bring this thread to its inevitable culmination by pointing out that Hitler only had one ball, not two … and most certainly not three.
Okay, but when you are the audience for someone’s actual human body, you still don’t get to tell them what they’re allowed to/“sane” to do with it.
You get to tell. You just don’t have to be listened to.
Truth, you can legally tell all you want. And those that choose to tell other people what they’re allowed to do with their bodies are actually, not even exaggerating a little, supporting rape culture, making it easier and more likely that someone gets raped, because the first step on the path of taking advantage of someone else is presuming that you have the right to do so, that your desires for their body trump their own, that their desires for their own bodies are somehow less valid than your desires for them.
So those that choose to tell deserve to be called out as supporting rape culture. It’s not just melodrama, it’s an idea that causes real harm to real people.
Seems like that 's an exceptionally broad definition of rape, one that almost invites subcategorization. One such subcategory could be “legitimate rape.”
No, I’m not defining rape, I’m defining part of rape culture, which is a different thing. It is the thing that makes people feel like rape might actually be OK in their minds and the minds of their peers, part of what allows rape to happen and be the thing it is, it is not the actual act. Thinking that you have the right to dictate to others what to do with their bodies is part of rape culture. It leads to direct sexual violence.
Maybe it was a mis-quote of: all her bust are belong to us.
Odds I will hear of that protest & regularly follow news on that subject - Very High
Odds I would otherwise hear of this - Very, Very Low
that wasn’t what i meant in my vague sleep-deprived post. i mean more like, if someone asked me to, say, remove their facial features, i’d want to have a long talk with them and, if possible, a psychiatrist before i did it.
There are all sorts of analogous procedures on display at Bmezine, though only a few of them involve experimental surgery under general anaesthesia.
