RIGHT!??
If you cannot be trusted not to use your position of power to transport minors across state lines to feed your sexual urges then you should not have that position of power. There are actual qualified candidates out there.

Women claim to have attended parties with cocaine, ecstasy, and Matt Gaetz

When reached for comment, cocaine and ecstasy denied that they would ever voluntarily attend a party with Matt Gaetz.

That’s an interesting way to say ‘statutory rape’.

Not to mention potentially contributing to the delinquency of a minor if the minors in question were perhaps “encouraged” to be more compliant with drugs and alcohol. Regardless, I don’t really expect the right to turn on this asshat. Too many of them have the same, better hidden, skeletons.

I thought the libertarian capitalists would be in favour of a free market in children. It’s what Murray Rothbard wanted, after all.

Rothbard phrased it as selling children to loving parents, but anyone with any sense would be able to see how that would work for most children in reality.

There are so many of these “war on drugs,” “law and order,” “sexual propriety,” “traditional gender roles” Republicans who are regular frequenters of drug-fueled orgies, there really needs to be a name for them. “Cocaine conservatives”? “Ecstasy fascists”?

“No one ever wants to stop partying, stop drinking, once you’ve had a few glasses of Champagne in you,” said one of the women.

Champagne is the Gaetzway drug?

Sure, fault the guy for all his other hypocrisy, but don’t ding him for being duplicitous about human trafficking . The guy’s been the leading proponent of it for years.

Beyond the “might have been minors” catch in all this, if he’s engaged in paying for sex and doing drugs, he’s breaking current laws. Doesn’t matter if all of us here agree those laws are stupid and should be done away with, they are on the books and he’s violated him. He should have the book thrown at him, just as those laws have been used to punish women and minorities.

THEN we can have a discussion about decriminalizing sex work and personal drug use.

Probably the ecstasy in the champagne that made them want to keep partying.

At least they weren’t roofied.

I’ll just leave this in here…

Gaetz and Greenberg were already on this making fake id’s. Guessing this applies to their favorite escort clearing house SugarDaddy dot com.

which they say were typically packed with Republican officials.

Names beyond Gaetz would be helpful, if only to highlight the hypocrisy of a party that courts the evangelical crowd and takes a hard line on drugs in public but seems not to believe in any of that in private.

Libertarianism really is one of those special ideologies where there are no strawman versions, just things more dedicated libertarians have said.
