I have no doubt he joined the other current and aspiring autocrats around the world in wishing Vova a happy birthday yesterday.

Hey, Bob Woodward, famous journalist guy. Your book is less important than ratting out treason. I can’t believe I have to say this AGAIN. Holding back facts so you can sell more books later on is becoming a habit. Cut it out!

I can only imagine the frustration of the spooks who listen to these conversations and can’t do anything about them but log them.

Ah yes, exposes. Because that Trump was all in favor of Putin, and hates things like NATO and Ukraine that oppose him, has been carefully concealed until now. Next maybe we can figure out how he really feels about Hispanic and black people.

IIRC the Republicans were crowing about how Woodward had been pooh-poohing the much-discussed Russian collusion allegations back in 2018 or so because he hadn’t been able to find any specific credible evidence to back them up.

The Republican Candidates love to violate the Logan Act to boost their election odds.
Off the top of my head.

  1. Nixon’s Madame Chennault convincing South Vietnam President to NOT accept Johnson’s peace proposal. 50,000 dead GI’s and the same terms accepted in Nixon’s term.
  2. I still feel the Iranian Hostage Crisis was expedited by Reagan’s team with the hostage return delayed by agreement.
  3. Trump discussions with Putin as a civilian.

Unfortunately, the Logan Act has little teeth and has never been successfully enforced.

That man removed a room full of classified documents and had them at his residence for weeks, who knows when, but a group of men could have come in and filmed each page with their phones and all that info could be sitting on Putin’s laptop right now. Nobody talks about it because “maybe” he just sat on those documents and did nothing, but I doubt it, and I know nobody else would be given that benefit of doubt let alone be allowed to walk free.

Oh, just wait for his follow-up book “American Traitor: The shit you wished you knew before the election.”

Due out end of November.

If only there were some legal recourse to be taken against people who act as agents for a foreign power without declaring it.

Lord Dampnut will no doubt scream about the timing of the book.
Someone should probably make a Bingo card with the litany of woes he usually spews.

“Stooge”?
It’s worse than that.
Putin owns Lord Dampnut, and has for a long time:

…Trump’s ties to shady Russian figures stretch back decades…
And those ‘shady figure’ are members of the Russian Mafia.
Putin is their boss.

I think if Lord Dampnut loses the election, staying out of prison will be the least of his worries, since his good friend Vlad will no longer have any use for him.

I suspect it’s a daily habit.

Yup. I still haven’t forgiven him for waiting so long to present incontrovertible proof that Trump knew damn well COVID was a big deal early in 2020, and even with this knowledge did fuck all about it until it was way too late.

Hopefully, Harris will appoint an AG with some teeth who will prosecute that.
