It’s also worth noting that immediately Al de Pfeiffel was ousted everything changed. When Truss was in power more progress was made than in the years before that. This is everyone cleaning up Al’s mess as usual. Notable that it’s been largely out of the papers too. That’s because they’ve been actually doing work rather than briefing their friends in the Oligarch Times against the people they’re supposed to be making a deal with.

Based on watching DUP MPs in the Commons, I’ll believe a deal is struck when the ink is dry. Their desired outcome appears to be a return to the Troubles.
Well they didn’t want them to end in the first place (they didn’t support the GFA) and they’ve withdrawn support for the Good Friday agreement for the last couple of years so….
